Amy grew up in Florida and enjoys making a difference for her clients and community. With a breadth of legal experience, she is committed to using her knowledge to help clients prepare for life’s uncertainties and preserve their legacies.

Amy’s journey into law began when an internship with a U.S.Congressional Representative ignited her passion for the legal field. Originally focused on a pre-med track, she switched her major to Political Science and then attended the University of Florida Levin College of Law.

Amy gained valuable legal experience working at a family law firm in the Tampa Bay area as a law clerk during her undergraduate studies, followed by externship in the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Criminal Division during law school, and followed by a successful summer associate position that led to over a decade in a top-ranking global law firm, DLA Piper.

At DLA Piper, Amy assisted major brands and ultra-high-net-worth clients with high-stakes matters, often involving complex business disputes, cross-border anti-bribery and anti-corruption compliance investigations opposite the SEC, DOJ, USAO and FBI, civil and criminal tax controversies opposite the IRS, becoming a senior attorney in the firm’s tax group while enrolled part-time in New York University’s Master of Laws Taxation program.

After more than a decade of successful practice at DLA Piper, she pivoted from reactive investigations and disputes to proactive planning to help a broader group of clients prepare for life’s what-ifs through meaningful estate planning.

Amy created the A.E. Reagan: Life and Legacy Planning Law Firm specifically for clients who need a thoughtful Florida estate plan to prepare for death, taxes, incapacity, and life’s curve balls.
